It wouldn't be that many if everyone just had one song - then whoever was running it would choose 3 or 5 depending on the entry numbers and then have a poll amongst members for the winner

Maybe run it like a challenge? Anyone who wants to enter puts "Lyric Comp" or something in the title. Or whatever...

Sounds a good idea - I’d just let anyone enter (but they have to decide to deliberately enter) and no shortlisting, at the end we all vote for our top ones. Should be a new lyric not posted before I think.
