this is terrific
drama & tension
love the mix   really swings
fiddles and pizzi strings and kitchen sinks..
knock out chorus  powerful vocal
a bridge of tranquil windows and then..
great stuff tom

something in your intro reminded of them

Wozzers! Bags of attitude and then a lovely middle section. I think you really got into your vocals here, fantastic delivery. (I've come back after having to google millennial snowflake :P) Lyrics are great and punchy with a clear message. Really interesting choice of instruments! Fab production!

I've listened a couple more times and that hook 'fighting the good fight' is great. Another great entry to this great comp!

Cheers

Love this one! Lyrics are brilliant! Just the right blend of bite and humour. Very relatable. The energy and vibe inspired by the drums are spot on. Also very catchy. This is definitely on my shortlist.

Hi!

Many good things have already been said. The reverb on the chorus might be a bit bright. The drums work perfect.
Nice track.

Hey Tom
Well that was f-bombing good IMHO.
Very creative arrangement - strings to a punk track - whodda thought?
But it works perfectly.
Vocals are superb as usual.
Good hooky chorus too - it's all there!
This uns gonna be hard to top  ;D ;D

Awesome arrangement an nice idea going for strings only. Not nits to pick with the production, its really great. The chorus sticks in your head and the break/solo/whatever is awesome - very inventive. The verse melody could have been a little more planned/structured to come up with something really sweet but it kinda goes OK with the chorus.
Lyrics wise, its not my favourite - there were a few lines that jarred for me and in general I think its always difficult to put the f-word in and not have it sound lazy or weak. But you delivered them with gusto which was great.

Great tune Tom.

Love how you took the challenge to a different direction, especially with your brilliant strings.

Not what I expected.

An enjoyable listen.
