[Sterix]

Oh well! Here goes nothing... 

I wrote this way back in 1989 and the lyrics are mostly the same since then. It's one of my personal favourites (in that it's one of the most common of my songs I will find myself singing to myself). I usually sing the shortened version - it was only a few years ago I decided to do an "extended mix" to add a little more flesh to the storyline, so to speak.

I'm also treating you (in the looooooooosssseeeesssssst terms possible!) to my vocal rendition of the short version. Apologies for the quality - it was recorded on my iPhone in the kitchen and I haven't messed around with them in any way. Annoyingly, I found myself having to fight the urge to sing the older lyrics - so if some of the words I'm singing sound a little "off" (or more so than normal) then it was probably me concentrating really hard on singig the right ones.

I'd recommend reading through the lyrics before subjecting yourself to my aural assault...
