Hi Darren

All the really great info on this thread can only be taken as guidance, Exact frequencies will always change slightly with different content, styles etc.

Basically what I am saying is trust your ears and always reference against professional material.

Yeh Mixing and mastering is frustrating at times but the rewards are great.

Rock on.

Rock on buddy!! Thanks for the support

Bill, Morefrog and Digger - thank you so much for listening and commenting. It's great to get your feedback and I'm glad to hear the latest mix is an improvement. I appreciate the further guidance Bill. You are exactly right of course, the lead guitar is near enough (minus the delay and the tweak of a knob) the same settings. I will definitely look into checking out some news lead sounds for that....simple tip but I think it will really help define the lead guitar parts. Interesting that the kick is still low in the mix...I will look into these wave plugins as that's the second mention in this thread. I might just try the free sample just to see what it does.

Thanks again everyone for your time and the excellent advice.

All the best

Darren

A great listen.

Don't know who it reminds me of, but it has a real 80s feel.

Clever and cheeky lyrics, I like the Backing vocals, gives the song a real kick.

Excellent guitars

Well done.
