Just deciding if it's worth re-recording with a full band.

Hi Todd,
No you havn't got nothing here you HAVE something. Something that is well worth re recording with a fuller sound.
I could imagine backing vocals responding to your lyric (i've got nothing line) so if you do decide to develop this song having backing vocals (female backing if you can get them) then that would set the chorus up pretty well imo.
A great demo that i would definitely take to the next level.
Johnny :)

This sounds great as it is, so it is definitely worth progressing, and I love the quirky solo, great vocals too.

Great song, and sounds good as it is, but I think it would benefit from adding in a band.

I would be inclined to keep the first verse and chorus sparse and then bring in the band for the second verse onwards. Then you get the best of both worlds!

Fun tune! Yes. This would be a great one to polish and shine. I look forward to hearing it with a full band.

I concur. It's great as it is. Perhaps it would be even better with more production. I love it.

I think this has a particular charm in a 'raw' acoustic guitar/vocal form.

yes there is somethin there, stick with it, but I would try a few different approaches, timings, speed etc, you might find one in particular leaps out as right, the vocal line seems stronger than the chord strucuture, to my ears...

hope this helps, pop.

I love it as it is - I think it would be easy to spoil and lose that lovely raw magic if you made it into a full band arrangement. But then I biased :-)
