Hey, I've been on this forum for a short while and I've written about my songs multiple times. If you don't know me very well I'm Dom Hunt, a 16 Year old Singer songwriter from North wales. I've recently finished my First full album "Falling Out Of Paradise", A Mix of soundscapes, Modern acoustic songs and Electronic rock. Similar but much bigger in scope when compared to my First EP "Dusty Ink Songs" Id like some advice on the thing as a whole, On here however i understand I'm only allowed to post about one song imparticular . So ill write about the song "Faded Flowers".
The song was inspired my granddad who passed a long time ago. I remember walking alongside a river with him when i were younger. I cant really explain it much more than that, Its an acoustic song featuring a tambourine.

Chorus
The flowers fade to brown
Sitting behind the warm window pane
As the sun sets down over town
Our lives are all the same

Verse 1
An old man on the park bench
Reaches for one more cigarette
Laughter on the grass near the trees
A girls hair blows in the breeze

A river where a boy and girl sits still
Trying to tame the waves
A strange freedom in the blue
He saw her passion in it too

Verse 2
Antique shops glitter in the sun
Footsteps pound along the street in the heat
The police cars scream behind him
He’s a man on the run

Verse 3
The old man sits on the park bench again today
Where he Lights up another cigarette
He glares deep into the river
The sun tells his story yet
