Lyricist For Hire (So To Speak)

I've posted a few of my lyrics already in the Lyrics section (links below) so hopefully you can see I'm quite adept at it (yes, I'm blowing my own trumpet here)! I'm also in a rich vein of inspiration at the moment. 8)
One thing I would love is to hear my lyrics played and sung by someone who can do them justice. With this in mind I would love to find (a) collaborator(s) who would either like to take my songs and help turn them into reality or would like me to provide lyrics for their own music.

I've updated my résumé... I'm still looking for (a) partner(s) in crime. Can write lyrics to tunes or provide lyrics in need of tunes (or provide lyrics AND tunes for those so inclined to turn my songs into... songs!).

I have numerous instrumentals that have defied my attempts to add lyrics to them. If there are any you would like to take a crack at, contact me. Either through this thread, or by P.M.

Here is the best (imo) way to view the instrumentals. There is a free download called "Notation Player" that plays midi (mid) and Notation (not) files. I can e-mail notation and/or midi files with these tunes, and you can pick and choose. Keep in mind that if the structure or sequence is not right for what you want to do, you can just let me know and I can change it. All the measures can cut and paste to other locations.
OR.... you can use any software that will play midi files. The advantage of the notation player software is that you can visually see the timing and notes and orient your lyrics to the notation in real time. I'd be happy to help with that btw.
OR.... I could just send you mp3 files.
Any way you want to do it.
What I do NOT want to do is pick a song for you. I want you working on one that YOU like, not one that I wished you liked. It's guaranteed to work better if you believe in what you are doing.
