Hi All,

Here's our latest track.
@Katie Wilson kindly supplied some lyrics which we were able to adapt to fit our new track.

I will leave it up to you peeps to guess the inspiration track and era.

Anyway, as always, crank up the volume and Enjoy.

Lyrics are as follows:

Verse 1:

What are you afraid of ?
Is it the wolf that lives in dreams ?
Or the one that you see clearly
but nothings seems how it seems
you gotta to know
where not to go
avoiding the snakes and ladders
Its the path that you chose
its what I propose and minding the cloak and daggers

Chorus:
There's a wolf on every corner
And There's a wolf outside your door
But you can't see
The biggest wolf is me
(Repeat)

Verse 2:

What are you afraid of ?
Is it the wolves you see in your dreams ?
when you wake up screaming
Coz its exactly how it seems
You gotta to know
They ain't gonna go
takin all the short cuts
find a place inside, somewhere to hide
Take a look before it slams shut

Breakdown:
being ready with a dagger in your hand
is not the only way to win
words can put them where they belong
show the teeth behind the grin

We are the wolves
we are the wolves at your door.
Repeat x 4
(We are the wolves outside your door.)

Good tune.

Has a real 80s Rock feel for me.

Some excellent guitar playing and clever lyrics.

I really like this. You could fill an arena with screaming girls with that one.

Great stuff as always guys. Loved the M8 in particular when it went all spacey and great solo after that. My only humble comment would to make it a bit more dirty in V1 and V2.  Always love listening to the music that you guys produce.

There's always a lot of energy and interesting rawk detail in your stuff.  Great clearly defined chorus in this.  Interesting & slightly mysterious lyrics too Katie - nice one.  The only line I'd tweak is "nothing seems as it seems" which doesn't make sense... make it "nothing is at is seems" and it's all good.  I do like the inversion of that line in the second verse though, very nice touch.  I also like the way the wolves become "we" rather than "I" in the outro.
There's a kind of disco rhythm to the verses that had my foot a-tappin' here.
It's all too beautiful.

Yo Andy and the team.

You are perfecting this Oasis vibe, aintcha! That should keep Katie happy!

Great pop/rock sound. Pomps has a valid point about getting heavier/dirtier mid song, but maybe that';s not what you were after. It's a fine line.

Great work and brill to see folk making use of Katie's great lyrics.  8)

Guys, thanks to all who took the time to listen and reply

Sandeep, spot on, its inspired by a track from the eighties, we are waiting to see if anyone works out which one

Pompey and Davy, we purposely kept the verses cleaner to create a bigger contrast to make the chorus stand out more, and while we had to do some extensive editing to adapt the lyrics to fit, Katie has some great ideas and is a pleasure to work with.

Pauly, that line was originally "quite as it seems", but wasn't very smooth so Andy sang in "seems as it seems" and it stuck, its a bit deep for me too :)

Red, I like the screaming girls idea, set it up and we'll be there

Kev and Micky, glad you like it and thanks.

Thanks to all for your positive comments, we appreciate them all, Mikey

Like it, lovely mix of clean sounds and dirty sounds to add interest. Think that really works but you could push it even further.

Great propulsive beat throughout, reminds me of The Verve in places.

Got a menacing feel of being chased which is only appropriate!

Nice work!

I liked this one a lot.

It did give a real sense of danger and fear...great set of lyrics!

Seemed to get better and better as it went along too...very good indeed  :)

Nice rocking sound guys. Production sounds very good. Guitars great.

Love the verse melody over that nice descending progression...leads into pretty catchy chorus too. Lyric has been fitted into the song admirably, really works big time in those verses.

Break at 2.30 or so super and song goes out nicely.

very good!
Take it easy.

Great job everyone! Very anthemic me thinks....so I’m gonna guess...Chesney Hawkes, one & only?!!!  ;D no? Ok, Bananarama,I heard a rumour??!  ;D Dammit!! Fine, what was it??

Production was great, as was the singing. My only tiny observation is that maybe the echo/delay is a bit loud on the vocal in the verses?? It doesn’t sound bad...it’s just a personal pref I guess.

Keep up the good work peeps. :D

Really enjoyed it. There's something quite nice and sinister going on and you can read more into it, or just go with the energetic production.
Was thinking to myself at the end, they really should go back to the chorus after the break, and boom my thought was answered.
Really good stuff!
