Hi I know it's not music related but I just wanted to say how gutted I was to  hear about Butch Wilkins , I'm not a fan of any of any of teams that he played  for but he always seemed such a genuine guy and I was very moved and surprised myself by shedding a tear when I heard the very sad news

Ray was a great guy

I was lucky enough to spend the day with him when he opened a football facility I was managing

He arrived early (on his own) and spent loads of time with everyone

It was amazing to see how popular he was with the young (he was assistant manager at Chelsea) and the older customers from his playing days

I also spent the day with Geoff Hurst recently to open a sports centre - another true gent

My best friends family were massive Chelsea fans, back in the day. They held Ray Wilkins in such high esteem that they named their cat Wilkie. He was a lovely man and a tragedy to die so young. RIP Ray:(
