Just a quick tip for sharing your chords with other musicians. When you're using a regular major chord, you don't need to indicate it. Instead of FMAJ you can just write F
Here's a quick primer for other chord types you might use:
C (straight major chord)
Cm (straight minor chord)
C7 (straight dominant 7 chord (notes = C E G Bb))
C+7 (straight major 7 chord (notes = C E G B)) (if this confuses you, don't worry, you'll come to know the difference in time)
Cm7 (straight minor 7 chord)
That should cover it for now. Once you're comfortable with all of those you may or may not want to delve into other chord types such as diminished, augmented and various extended chords.
Good on you for picking up the guitar. It's the most fun you can have with a lump of wood in your hands (apparently)
