Hi guys and girls if you could choose one person( just one ) in the history of music to do a collaboration with who would it be ?

I think as an oasis fan my number one choice would be Noel followed by John Lennon and then Paul Weller.

Hi Katie,
I think i would like to collaborate with a few people. Adele would be one that would be a blast if i was to choose a vocalist it would be her 100%! She has a potty mouth and a great sense of humor so that would be a lot of fun in the studio. :)
Another would be Richard Anthony Hewson. For those who don't remember him he is the guy behind that amazing song Messages From The Stars by The Rah Band. A great musician and way ahead of his time way back in the eighties. He's worked with a ton of superstars including The Beatles. The Bee Gee's and Fleetwood Mac to name a few. He really inspired me to stick with it in musical terms a long time ago.
Johnny :)

This question is calling my name.... And it's really hard to narrow it down, but if I'm going to choose someone famous, I might go for Barry Gibb. Or Adele. Or Dolly Parton. Or Paul Simon. Or Carole King. Or Carly Simon. Or Laura Nyro. Or Lady Gaga. Or Debby Harry. Or Enya. Or Paul McCartney.

Wait! Just one??? <<sigh>> Keeping in mind, collaborating with me will just be a nuisance for any one of them. Maybe....Paul Simon. No, no, no, make that Adele. No...better go with Barry Gibb.

Actually, I really like collaborating with people like PaulAds, Skub, Neil C....who did I forget???

I can't think of anyone famous that I'd like to collaborate with but Pompey And I are  currently working on something rather special I think.  John has his hands on the wheel and is currently steering a song of mine home over the winter roads! ;-)

I was going to say Prince, but he would be too much of a control freak and take over the whole damn thing. I don't think he would know how to actually collaborate. Although it would be a helluva experience getting to work with him.

So, with Prince out of the picture, I would want somebody who would not only be a genius, but who would also be sympathetic to my own artistic leanings and not completely take over the proceedings. Someone that might intimidate me at first, but who would probably wind up eventually setting me at ease.

With that in mind...
The Basher: Nick Lowe.

But that's just from the famous folks.
When it comes down to it, my current collaborators (Dave - drums and keys; Steve - bass; and John - engineer and back-end utility man) are pretty tough to beat. Completely sympathetic partners and damn good on their chosen instruments.
Love 'em.

Prince for me, whether he took over or not!

Holding his guitar and getting some picks and a towel he used on stage are going to be as close as I get  :'(

There are a few but if I had to nail it down to one I'd go with Tuomas Holopainan.

I think I'd have to go for a writer - someone like Diane Warren (not sure how that would go, but probably a fun session) or Neil Finn or even (let me be the first) Roddy Frame!

David Sylvian; he's such a graceful writer.
