This is something I've been reasonably hesitant to post, mainly because it falls more into the composition bracket than songwriting (if you choose to make the distinction

This is a piece I've been penning for some time now, and I'm not sure about it. Bear in mind that i'm using a very rudimentary sound pack on a scoring program called musescore.
It's one of my first composed pieces (using the little black dots of horror
). I wrote it following the birth of my nephew Orson, so I guess in some ways it's to celebrate a new arrival.
I'd be super curious to see your thoughts on this piece, I don't think any other piece I've written has had quite this much work put into it.
It's written for a twenty-five piece ensemble consisting of:
-Flute
-Oboe
-Bb Clarinet
-Basoon
-French Horn
-Bb Trumpet
-Trombone
-Tuba
-Timpani
-Harp
-Violin
-Viola
-Cello
-Contrabass
