I do have a bluesy groove to this.
I don't know if I want to continue with it
It's a joyful li'l number.

Feedback ?  :)

small circles big wheels

Y'all know that I'm rich, n' I live from day to day
Don't mind the spirits, they do for me in work n' in play
Look at you expecting like I have something to say
Desperate acts reflecting, there will be hell to pay

Fear of life, lust for life, divided by the hunt n'the kill
N' if you don't get yours, maybe your sister will
Several reasons to die with just as many thrills
This be the rock for rolling, Small Circles, Big Wheels

Daily work, dirty work. All one and the same
I must have the meaningful of every single day. Every single day

I stand in grace with Cohen, wi'Bob, John, Lou and with Neil
That's not a trumpet blowing, no, it's just the way that I feel
From the early morning until the stars are revealed
This be the rock for rolling, Small Circles, Big Wheels

Daily work, dirty work. All one and the same
I must have the meaningful of every single day. Every single day

This throw y'down, pick y'up, ears ringin', leaves y'swingin' on y'heels
This be the rock for rolling, Small Circles, Big Wheels

It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Hi,
It would be helpfull if you could post the story behind your lyrics.
What happened to make you write these lyrics. What is your songs story etc and more importantly what message are you hoping to tell those listening to your lyrics?

Hi Johnny.

This isn't a very deep, or personal text.
I was taking time off, just writing my state of mind, feeling good n' posing.

It makes more sense with the upbeat blues rock music I have for it.
I remember wanting to write such a song.
The title would suggest I'm a big fish in a small pond.

I don't suppose that helps.  :)

It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

Oldbutyet. Hi. No offense taken or intended, from my part.

I don't think you like my style, and that's alright with me.

I don't always intentionally change things, still to my ear they sound different.
Maybe I'm looking too closely, or maybe you, not closely enough.

The vocals are my voice.
I think from your point of view it could be argued that Sam Cooke or axel rose, or Freddie Mercury always sound the same.
I think very few people would share that view, and it would be wrong.

Musicians indisputably far better at what they do than either of us are actually digging this style I have.

I certainly don't intend to please everyone, my goals are much higher.

I'll press on, with diligence and wonder, and I'll improve.
Maybe, pride and prejudice permitting you'll get on board, maybe not, either way t.b.h. I really couldn't care less.

I wish you well.  :)

I like your style in fact I really do like your style but shit man I want to hear something different that I know you can deliver is that okay with you, I know you're good for it otherwise i wouldn't be bothered listening and replying, you're also very good with words reading your reply, and lyrics  ;)

Maybe sometime in your future songwriting journey use your guitar style as a paddle if you know what I mean, no offense taken or intended, enjoy man, nice one  8)

Hey, I'm really sorry for responding so irritably.

I've been catching some undeserved flak lately from other places.

I don't get to play much lately but I intend to improve. I'm nowhere near the level I could or should be.
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I know you don't care either way, but I like lyrics and I'll sure they'll come to life when putcto music, as most lyrics do. Difficult to comment on these types of lyrics; you love them or you hate them, but it's very hard to change them. They are what they sre; complete. And I like them.

I didn't totally understand your lyrics but that's not always necessary. I certainly enjoyed these and note that's there are some great lines. Sometimes, I simply latch on to well written, thought provoking lyrics and admire individual statements. "I stand in grace......it's just the way I feel" a great lyric and I don't interpret any arrogance at all here. It demonstrates that your thinking on your feet, expressing your thoughts and are willing to share them. Anyway, I don't want to read ordinary lyrics. I want to read something that shows a writer who is thinking and feeling in the here and now.

Wicked.

Glad you like em
I tend to really dislike lyrics that tell you everything; leaves me thinking -who needs to know - did I ask?
Also lyrics that jump at or run from cliches.

I think good lyrics often ignite the imagination of a good mind.
Listening is nothing if not active.
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.
