I really liked your lyrics. I get what you are saying just from reading the words you wrote. Verses are the first port of call for giving the listener your story. How you are feeling and why you are feeling this way. You do this well in your verses.
Then we get to the chorus. The chorus is the answer to what you have talked about in your verses.
In your verses you are asking who am i...as in which pair of shoes do i choose to step in. See what i mean? Ok so then in the chorus i feel that telling those listening which pair of shoes you have chosen would give them the answer and your songs message. Etc.. this is me! and we get to find out what path/shoes you have chosen.
If these were my lyrics i would defo go down the path of telling everyone which shoes i have chosen, it gives the listener resolution and it also created empathy for the songs message. People listening would actually be rooting for you to make the right choice. etc...
Anyway those are my thoughts.
