Any advice is worth reading. The trouble with me is that it takes an age to really learn my DAW, then another age to learn plugin x then another for plugin y, then how to mix, then how to master, then how to play, then...then...then the software is upgraded and you have to go back a few steps...

I tend to pick a tiny tip and try it, and if it's good I will remember it.
