Hello, Songwriters

Has anyone got any experience in recording a demo in Nashville?

I came accross these websites, does anyone know them?
http://www.nashvilledemoworks.com
http://www.nashvilledemofactory.com

Does anyone know if recording a demo (just one song) with a good Country music producer in Nashville would be about the same price as recording it with a good producer in London (high quality)?

How can i find a good Country Music producer in Nashville that doesnt charge that is reasoble?

Thoughts?

Thanx a lot

I know someone in the Nashville music scene, I'll ask him the question and get back to you...

Personally I wouldn't spend the big money up front at the demo stage, there are plenty of great producers in smaller studios that can do a great job, I bet there's someone in this forum that'll do you a great demo, top producers in great studios cost really big bucks. Wait until the demo gets some interest, then you might get someone who will want to pay for the Top producer and studio...

Hope this helps

My contact in Nashville TN has come back to me, and he says it's a bout $600 all in for a radio ready demo, which seems remarkably good value for money. The Studio is called 'Jays Place'

Hope this helps.

You're welcome.

Just for info a session lap steel or fiddle player comes in at about $100 per session each.
