Yo Johnnyuk.

Welcome to the forum man.  :)

The song has that 80s Human League 'Don't you want me' vibe. It's a catchy offering, well sung, performed and produced.

The only thing I'd like is for the vocals to be a little less dry,not much, just a little to make them sound more an integral part of the whole track.

All my opinion of course, and I'm not always right.  ;)

Catchy, nice vocals & music.

But...

certain lines are hard to accept, for example

He'll drown you in truth tea
yeah that's what he's gonna do
he'll drown you in truth tea
he'll spill it all over you.

is, well, a metaphorical expression which might be open to, misinterpretation.

Also the word 'integrity' should really only be in a light themed song when it rhymes 'intercity' for fun.

Otherwise as others and myself say, catchy tune.

Fine song and fine production, I know your not a fan of reverb but the vocal is very dry and seems a little bit disjointed from the song, but we all differ in our opinions of stuff like this so no biggie!! 8)
distinct 80's feel and as skub said very..Human League :)
don't watch vids with music so cannot comment on it.. :) :)

welcome to the forum mate... :)

Great theme and lyrics - really great picture you paint and the ironic superhero images work really well. "Truth tea" sounds really original and memorable. The music works well too - I like the bugglegum retro sound over a modern serious topic. Interesting listen indeed! I think you may be a fellow member of the "quirky" club, fine by me.

Listened to this early this morning. There is so much to like. It is ever so charming.  How do you stand using the Superman movie footage?  Did you seek permission to use it?

Great track.

Hi mate welcome to the forum. I'm not sure about the Superman video but your song is really nicely produced and I love the whole Human League vibe.

Well I will stick with the Sheffield connection - re Human league, but will also add in Pulp because of the quirkiness of the lyrics. 'Truth Tea' - what a great song title. It's an offering meant to entertain and this it does I believe with such a catchy delivery.
My latest novel: pls check it out!
