For me, one of the most fascinating things about song writing is that you can approach songs at so many different angles and you never know what they are going to morph into. That's incredibly exciting.

This one somehow turned into a Eurovision monster, so I went with the flow, hammed it up a bit and Le voila !

Something to bounce about to on a Sunday  :)

Boom Boom Boom

My heart goes Boom Boom Boom (When you're standing close to me)
Boom Boom Boom (You knock me off my feet)
Boom Boom Boom (Then the thought of ectasy)
Boom Boom Boom (You make my life complete)

When I call you on the phone
You're never on your own
It makes me sad when I am all alone
Wish that I could see you
Cos you're my dream come true
Come with me and make some fan-tas-y

My heart goes Boom Boom Boom (When you're standing close to me)
Boom Boom Boom (You knock me off my feet)
Boom Boom Boom (Then the thought of ectasy)
Boom Boom Boom (You make my life complete)

When I'm dreaming in the night
Want you to hold me tight
That's the only place I want to be
My heart it skips a beat
You knock me off my feet
Just want to spend my time with you

Oh boy, you nailed it. It's perfect. The genre is kind of painful to me, but it's really great and made me laugh.

I can imagine the club where this is blasting. I can't imagine myself there. Haha. It would not be of my own free will. Most likely dragged there drunk on some occasion like a bachelorette party. Oy.

Oh Boy indeed. How the heck do you do it John? Are you sure there's just one PompeyJazz? Prolific and able to jump between genres at will. This is as good as any Ibiza anthem. Just brilliant. Shame I'm sat at home on the sofa having a cup of tea. Don't think a bit of caffeine and milk does this song much justice.... Cheers Micky.

Pompey, this is one of your best! Could this be the genre you were destined for? Great stuff!

Fluffy and dancy as anything! Love the cheesy rhymes, great fun. In the choruses maybe a bit more kick drum for a real floor shaker? But it does what it says on the tin, really good stuff.

Just the right feel for a song of this type. The chorus is the strongest part - very memorable! (an "earworm" I think).
One minor point - the sound in places seems a little "thin" - e.g. before lats chorus - maybe need another layer of something?
A very good song - well crafted with a good hook.

Your versatility knows no bounds!

You've got a hit on your hands here John - OK - maybe not, but you should have! I mean I can't honestly say I like it - but that is a compliment because I am an old fart who is far too old to like this genre! You have absolutely nailed that sound.

I am seriously concerned I am going to singing this all day now. Damn!!
