A river of silence
feed my life with pleasure and fear
while i'm  trapped in the comfort of darkness
I cant - believe whats up and down
oh my god ,I circle around and around
i'm here ,but nobody's there  to see my fear
my river builds, of all these tears

I row my boat against a stream
I count the days before I have to leave
pulling off the nice protective curtains
to meet the outside world
with tons of empty words
oh my god how do i survive and find my way
to get through another bloody day

Back home and safe
protected by the curtains and the walls
busy feeding all the souls, that call
my boat - still waiting by the lake
the ferryman with the tender hand
has to keep waiting
for the day
I'm ready to sail home.

Hi Klaus

A nice piece of progressive rock. Right up my street. The song lets us know what we are going to get in the first couple of bars. I like the way the last verse comes back in after the instrumental.

I thought the drums could be louder with maybe some more reverb on the snare. I was going to say that I thought the vocals felt a bit loud, but it sounds different with headphones on compared with my monitors. Nice rowing sample!

Oh la la these lyrics!!! So important... I liked very much this song, and the highlight of "oh my god how do i survive and find my way
to get through another bloody day"
I find nobody can remain indifferent after hearing this track. Hasta pronto. Mora
I did not know that to live we had to die so many times
