Hi folks!

I'm thinking of buying this recording interface. Anyone who uses/used it? Or knows someone who has it?
Is it any good? And fittingly for a newbie at recording?

Also: what is a good, low budget (not crap, but like under 200€ or so) recording mic? Been watching the Rode TN1-A. Any thoughts on that one? Or other suggestions?

No experience with that interface. The NT1-A is a really good all-round mic, I use it quite a lot.
I also like (out of budget mics) the Golden Age Project R1 MK3 on vocals and the shure sm81 on acoustic guitar. The ADK S51 MK5.2 has got good press aswell. Some people also love the shure sm57 (classic live vocal mic) for recording vocals - the vocals on Thriller were recorded with a '57, which is pretty good for a 95euro mic. I wouldnt use it on acoustic instruments though.

I have this interface (US122) and find it really good, especially for the price. I've never really had any problems with it. A good choice in my opinion.
