Tethered Tails

She was pudding in my palm
She was putting it on
But it was just for show
It was all so I would know
How far she would go

She's the geese in a v
I'm gandering at her beak
She's been honking at me
Like an old lady crossing the street
With a walker and arthritic knees

She's so very versatile
Sheds her skin like a reptile
Lets me in once in a while
And rips me with her razor smile
She swallows like a crocodile
Scales and tales are just her style

She's trying that's for sure
For the loss that it's worth
She's been slurring her words
Mixing up her sayings
Close but no cigarrete
Can't get what she's conveying

She's been waiting on a whim
Anything to do with him
But he's a sleazy sam
Nothing but a ham
She's been hoping for a ram
With horns and hooves who climbs mountains

She's been asking for too much
Hogs could never fly and such
Oinks were always out of touch
Rolling in the muck
