Hey Rightly. I think Paulyx nails it in his review I agree 're Robert Johnson. I also find the lyrics intriguing and a bit obscure, but poetic. what I would add is that the guitar riff that gently holds the whole thing together is a delicate wonder. Again this song would sound great recorded perhaps with a full electric band, but understand why you would not want to revisit
Thanks for your attention folks.I sort of guessed some would like it where others wouldn't get anything out of it.
standard tuning. key of G. starts in G (the high g is muted while in this chord. while strumming the high d roles down to c then b then c, then repeat) then a chord change to c, with a little bump.
very easy to play if you're used to playing your G that way.
I don't anymore, it'd be time consuming to get back into it and I've a good few new songs I need to learn.
I feel like I'm making some much needed progress (or improvements) with playing. I want to continue down this road for a bit.
hmm.
The lyrics were originally not meant for music, the poem was just a bit of a scribble for myself, I kind of liked it n didn't throw it away.
At some point I must have thought I'd do a G C thing on it. It became one of the songs I had no intention of presenting to anyone. The psychological / emotional space I was in, isn't where I'm at now.
