After a visit on the cost line of Normandy in the North of France many years ago I was both shocked and incredibly grateful to those who took the fight to liberate Europe from a cruel dictator.

Since that day I would put music to my thoughts and the experience my visit has that day on the beach.

Intro:
There You are again
are you my enemy or my fried
do you believe it come to an end
if agree the peace to defend

CH:
To be or not to be
on a ship at sea
with wings, we can fly – fly to be free
fear endless fears
no one can catch
All the diamonds in the tears

V1:
Long was the walk on the bloody beach
to break through the line
and to fight back a few inches of land
some of the guys was screaming loud
when chaps got buried in the sand
V2:
Dark were the clouds at the highest dunes
When the fire died, it became quiet
And the beach was colored red
Thousands of young men who were so brave
For them the beach became their grave
V3:
Over the hills and safe in town
you found a spot to get rest
few was left to carry the hope
all they looked forward to see what was next
crossed the fingers with a hope for the best

Sleep well my friend
See you again

I meant to listen to this last week but it disappeared real quickly off the front page.
You just gotta get reviewing man, get a load under your belt and peeps will respond to your songs en masse.
This is a good song man, I like it. I dig that sombre church like organ churning away, it gives an epic backdrop for D Day.
Lyrics appear a little awkward in places, obviously English isn't your first language, but it all comes across well. You like to tackle big subjects.

Hi!
I need to listen with the music yet, but just wanted to congratulate you on these words, so thoughtful and touching. They are especially moving when we may have ancestors who were there and commemorated in the sombre memorial grounds.
Wonderful words.
Thankyou and will be listening to the complete work soon. I know it will be good.
Marrianna

Especially great words  "no-one can catch all the diamonds in the tears"  ...

Wau.. I like it
But i would redesign whole palette of instruments.
And in the end.. I like to have it epic so Im recomending to change scale by 1 or 2 tones
But I like melody really

Hi Krysoe
Could spot the Floyd influence again in here but also enjoyed the heavy use of organ throughout.
Felt like a big ambitious song.
Maybe the drums somehow sounded a bit too jolly for the subject matter?
A good song though... big fat production and a weighty topic, a bigger one than I'd have the guts to tackle.
It's all too beautiful.

Hi - thanks a lot for the feedback.
As English is not my first language Can you explain more about the " jolly drums" as i Can imagine you focus on a special part of the track

Kind Regards
Klaus

Sure Klaus. It's just personal taste but I was referring to the drum loop that starts at 0:55 and reappears again later. That tom-tom in it just feels a bit lightweight and happy to me for the subject matter. I thought the rest of the percussion was good though.
It's all too beautiful.

The organ here gives me a 'Brothers in arms' feel,
I like the way you portrayed the story although   there is  a place for some lyric  tweaks that will make it
a beautiful peace.

Good luck!
