Hi, this could be about a guy and a guyess away at a conference,

or better quality..http://knmac.bandcamp.com/track/the-moment-lingers

On a stormy rainy day,
I met a cool lady,
she bumped right into me,
choreographically?
certain things are now likely,
should we go for a coffee,
should I strike the iron hot,
or maybe I should not.

the moment see's you, then leaves you,
the moment lingers, to tease you,

what the consequence would be,
if i momentarily,
pretend that I'm alone,
and disregard my phone,

the moment see's you, then leaves you,
the moment lingers, to tease you,

will it be what we expect?
reputations to protect,
when a fire burns inside,
passion takes us for a ride,

the moment see's you, then leaves you,
the moment lingers, to tease you,

hey, your in the same hotel,
spend the night we may as well,
It's a momentary lapse,
we will keep it under wraps,

best, Kevin :)

Cool EDM stuff!

Very clear and precise music and singing and with a nostalgic feel to it! Big like!

I was expecting some kind of drop in it, I love those drops!
Have a great day!

Takes me back to the early 80's OMD/Erasure feel that I'm sure could have easily been included as an album track back in the day - its obviously a style you love......if such a shame that theres no call or market for, not only this but other, retro sounding new/original songs that are regularly produced on this forum.

Well, this is right up my street, having regularly accidentally found myself in the 80s.

This one reminds me of Europop rather than Erasure, Robert Miles maybe?

Couldn't agree more. Love the guitar in the background and as usual the melancholic sound of your voice (I hope that's taken as a compliment!)

Anyway, Im off to a conference this week, so Ill let you know if I have to disregard my phone....

I caught this one a day ago via the wonders of soundcloud. Very late era Rush and I've no beef with that at all.  8)

Loving the funky little 'After the Fire' riffs popping up here and there, adds texture to it all.

Poptastic.  8)

Enjoyed this... you can't beat an octave synth baseline to send you back to 1984.  It had shadows of 'Visage' to my ears.  A bit more pop and slightly less emotional than some of your stuff? but still a really nice period piece, with that guitar noise effect being a fine hook, and great vocals as ever.
It's all too beautiful.

Disco? EDM? 70's ?
IDK - it's damn good whatever it is.  ;D ;D
Great riff carries it for me.
And of course the flawless vocals  ;D ;D

Oh man , I'm in the presence of greatness here. Damn, wall to wall choruses again.
Seriously dude this is rad, that little guitar part has altered my brain chemistry, yknow.
This is totally fonkin awesome, you got the Nobel Prize for analysing the physics of catchiness.

Can I ask you why you think it sounds better on Bandcamp?

New retro. Yay! There’s synths (love ‘em). And cool, quirky riffs. And poppy edm beats with the interesting guitars and vocals. Kept on building. You’ve got such an interesting sound, unmistakably you but a totally different angle on this one too. Cool!

That's a cool Dance pop Beat!
Your vocal color reminds a bit of George Michael which suits well to the style  you play.

I also liked the Backing vocal part that adds a lot.

This is a great vibe Kev. Love the synchopated beat. It does remind me of some 80's electro but it's also bang up to date. Lovely geetar effect and love the bv's. Another slice of class as expected  ;D

I enjoyed this.

Simple but effective instrumentation which I'm guessing took a lot of restraint for you.

The chorus is short and snappy and works well.

I noticed the lyrics too which is quite rare for me, concise and clear you adulterer you.

Good work.

A top song, Kev.

Music, lyrics, sounds and production all pulling together into an excellent, clever and lighthearted dance-fest.

Massive thumbs up from me  :)

Back in the 80's EDM - great beat you have created here - good and strict recording

One note on lyrics:
Last line first verse: "or should I maybe not" dont fit recording I believe it's a typo

Keep up the good work
