Bonjour people,

here's a new french song and some others to come as I decided I'll put my second album together before I hit forty. 

I know you might miss the emotional content because of the lyrics, but it's a good way for me to know if the melody can carry the song by itself.

I owe you so much since I'm here that there'll be nothing I can do to get even.

I feel close to people here as I feel we're all doing song for the same reason, not for stardom, not for money but for something else that no words can express.

This is about a friend who got his golden heart broken too soon and kept sitting all day without talking.

Very elegant song, and a good video too.
I liked that hypnotic 3-note piano hook, and it has a really nice build towards the end when the guitars come in and you repeat the chorus.
I can only understand a few lines of the lyrics, but it feels like you've written a really warm supportive song for your buddy.
Well sung throughout, you don't oversing it, so it feels intimate and natural.

A quality offering as usual from yourself. We'd expect no less.

Since I know doodly squat about French,I'm obviously excluded from the lyrical content,music wise it's a subtle,delicate piece and very easy on the ear. There are always little cool things going on in the background in your songs,often overlooked on first listen,but very rewarding when the listener discovers them. All those little things help the dynamic of the song and keep the attention going.

Cool video too,though le cat is notably absent. I wasn't dying about the sudden end,I like a definite conclusion or a fade.

I liked this song, it's really well made.

on the emotion front - I noticed that most songs in languages I don't understand, appeal to me when they bear the emotion beyond the spoken word. In your song I was expecting something like that but it did not climax and had the same pace.

Other than that - the songs and video work together relly well
