To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of induction which means the 2018 nominees had to release their first official recording no later than 1992.

Here are the finalists:

My votes would go to:

The Zombies
The Cars
Moody Blues
Dire Straits
J. Geils Band

Who would you vote for?

I would go for...

Bon Jovi - with the inductee performance re-uniting Jon and Richie  ;D

dIRE sTRAITS - a huge influence on my guitar playing growing up

Eurythmics - Annie has one of the best voices in the business

Kate Bush - an original legend

Radiohead - I am not personally a big fan but I think they deserve it

Nina Simone. She should have been inducted years ago. For giving us Young Gifted & Black and Baltimore. She's one of the true greats.
MC5. For Giving us Kick out the Jams. This album alone does it for me.

These two stand out for me. From the rest would be

Link Ray
The Cars
Kate Bush.
