Thats pissed me off royally, such a cool talent. Saw him three times. last at the end of August in Hyde Park, they were on top form. First saw they around 1982 around Damn the Torpedoes at BiC awesome, and then at Isle of Wight a couple of year ago. With the heartbreakers they rocked.

According to the 10:00 pm news (4:00 am British time if daylight savings time), the report of Tom Petty's was a little bit exaggerated/premature. Reports that he had no brain activity have apparently been retracted. He is in critical condition at the moment, though.
