Hello guys, first time posting a song here.

That's a project I started not long time ago where I write all the music and lyrics in english (I'm a native portuguese speaker). It's very intimate, genuine but I'm not pro.

Any feedback would be good. Hope you like it:

Delicious Grace - On My Way To You

=============================

ON MY WAY TO YOU
WAS FEELING KINDA BLUE

CRAZY CATS ON THE STREETS
REMIND ME EMPTY SHEETS

THOUGH THE NIGHT HAS COME
HALLWAY IS YET TO COME
THOUGH THE NIGHT HAS COME
AND YOU ARE NOT ALONE

chorus:

EVERYTHING IS SET, THE THRILL IS HERE
TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE GONNA BELIEVE
YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE THAT CARE
SAYIN' GOODBYE IS SUCH A DESPAIR

CAME BY TO SAY HELLO
THE OLD HE SEEMS TO KNOW
THE RAIN IS COMING THROUGH
THERE'S A MATCH IN OUR SHOES

THOUGH THE NIGHT HAS COME
HALLWAY IS YET TO COME
THOUGH THE NIGHT HAS COME
AND YOU ARE NOT ALONE

chorus:
EVERYTHING IS SET, THE THRILL IS HERE
TELL ME WHAT YOU'RE GONNA BELIEVE
YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE THAT CARE
SAYIN' GOODBYE IS SUCH A DESPAIR

COME TO ME AND SAY
COME ON AND SAY IT LOUD
YOU GET IN MY BRAIN
ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS...

Hi and welcome,
Good title and I like the compressed piano and drums, the verses had a good pop/rock drive.
I found the massed vocals a bit odd to start with.
The production was a bit mashy sounding, later on I could hear the guitar in the quite passage towards the end, but that can be fixed. Although the long outdo coda felt unnecessary IMHO

Thank you for the reply, Neil. It means a lot.

What do you mean by massed vocals? Is it like an overdub thing? (Sorry, I'm not a native english speaker)
