Hi everyone!

Fall is here with rain and fog, so I thought it is time to finally post my entry for the summer song competition.  Yes I know, I might be a tad late, but it was written one day before the deadline, and it took me some time to get things right. ;-)

I have not been posting in some time. The reason is that I was and am still working on my vocals with a coach, and was never satisfied with what I produced. At least I guess I was making some progress. And though I am still not fully happy, I finally feel that I have reached a state where I can start finishing and posting songs again.

So, to keep it short, here is the song:

Good to hear from you man. 

Your vocals are a lot like Michael Stipe,who as we all know has done ok for himself. 

The song is a cool little chilled out/laid back number,but with that angsty REM feel to it.

Hurrah - my summer song also featured Caipirinha (and 5 San Miguels, not as posh as you).

Very nice guitar recoding here and the percussion really sets things up nicely. Baseline also sounding good. Vocals sounding more relaxed now perhaps, but I never had a major problem with the old ones!.

For me the list of cocktails went on a little too long - I think I'd have liked a shorter menu and then back to the song but all in all a playful and fun sounding little summer number.

Hi Wolfi. Das Ist gut , Jah!  Have missed having you around. You're songs always have great melodies. Like the way you mashed it up with the percussion but maybe the tambourine was a bit too in your face. It's good to post a summer song in the autumn anyway. Cheers

Hey Wolf nice one, i thought in parts you were going to go into some reggae style dont know if that would fit in but it would be interesting to try if you haven't already.

I like the cool lay back style im with you there man, Pina Colada on hot sun beach i just hope those boardwalks are wide enough.
