            Livin' Like You're Here

What do I do ohh ev’ry night?
I fix this bed how you liked (your)
Bracelet still on my bed post
Twinklin all’s not lost
Maybe I’m lost? (cause)
I’m about fallin’ short
of Partin’ my lips to kiss
But I can’t close my eyes to kiss
this Cold night air

Yeah your mind might be sayin,
“The love we had, is past tense’’
Ohh but I doubt your heart’s sayin, (to)
Burn our mem’ries, we’re fin(ished)
(it’s why I’m…)

        Livin’ like you are here…
I can’t give up on you
I'm Livin’ like you are here…
(know you’ll) Love me how you used too
Ohh I can’t deny this feelin’
Wants to work things out between us
          ( It’s why I’m…)
        Livin’ like you are here…
          Livin’ like you are here…

Wanna say sorry to your face
For my dumb mistakes that caused you pain (so)
Watch my fingers start to open up
Waiting for your grip
Waiting for your grip of love

Your mind might be sayin’, “We’re a past tense thing”…
But I doubt, your heart’s ready yet darlin’
To burn each memory in a rusty backyard barrel
that’s why I live

        Livin’ like you are here…
I can’t give up on you
          Livin’ like you are here…
Love me how you used too
Ohh I can’t deny this feelin’
Wants to work things out between us
          ( It’s why I’m…)
        Livin’ like you are here…
          Livin’ like you are here…

(Bridge)

and you’re phone rings out
I can’t help think ‘bout
Ohh our loud silence
But I know that silence
Will give way to say
I still gotta chance with you
(that’s why I'm...

    Livin’ like you are here…
I can’t give up on you
          Livin’ like you are here…
Love me how you used too
Ohh I can’t deny this feelin’
Wants to work things out between us
          ( It’s why I’m…)
         Livin’ like you are here…
          Livin’ like you are here…

Hey Josemar,

Not sure why things have gone a bit silent on your thread here, though I always find it useful to give a bit of context and direction on the feedback you're looking for - otherwise it can be an intimidating task to undertake.

That said I appreciate the mix between humor and sadness in the lyrics, I can really put myself int he antagonist shoes right from the get-go, which makes some of the parts which seem humorous from an outside view hit home. In fact there's a third one; as looking at it from the antagonist's point of view could be quite creepy and scary. That's got to be some good stuff that you can look at it from at least three angles and get different feeling from it - very empathy-inducing and that conflict is powerful.

Only possible suggestion would be to give more of a hint at what is meant by
Quote
Wanna say sorry to your face
For my dumb mistakes that caused you pain
It's intriguing and I think it would be nice to give some clues (but not outright) at what happened, to give a bit more foundation for the listener/reader to let their imagination run with.

I would really like to hear this, the flow of lyrics as I'm reading them is very nice - and coupled with the great thoughtfulness of words could make for a really great track.

All the best,
Scott.

Is this idea possible???

Not in a Song... Never!!!
But maybe a Poem come Ode.

Jackdaw 1888
The Road to Happiness leads nowhere.
Happiness is the Road itself.
