I wrote this one in one session. I was quite strongly inspired by the rhythms of "This House is a Circus" by the Arctic Monkeys. It is most definitely not to be sung slowly. I'll leave it to you to figure out the meaning.

Revolving around supplementary
Methods of providing attention intently
Following on from a night so misspent
Because you yet again failed to dispense love.

Burning up in reentry,
Desperately clinging to hell's own gentry
Way of greeting the unfamiliar,
With the intention of making the point clear

That you're not welcome back here.

Challenge us to a duel
'Cept it's obviously not a duel
As there's twenty of us that hate you.
Not rugby or soccer or pool,
Absolutely no sport at all,
Is gonna settle this dispute.
Enrich us with your words of wisdom,
Think something non-fiction
The problem's you've got nothing new.
You make it sound like you're on a mission,
Tryna take all the piss from
All twenty of us that hate you.

You paint over your wounds with Tippex
As you're so sure that this is your best bet.
Certainly frightened of the repercussions,
You can't let the recovery come undone yet.

Fearful of the undiscovered,
Hiding from your assailants you mustn't
Let the tightly-wound protection suffocate
All the positive things that I don't hate

So as to make yourself more welcome here.

Challenge us to a duel
'Cept it's obviously not a duel
As there's twenty of us that hate you.
Not rugby or soccer or pool,
Absolutely no sport at all,
Is gonna settle this dispute.
Enrich us with your words of wisdom,
Think something non-fiction
The problem's you've got nothing new.
You make it sound like you're on a mission,
Tryna take all the piss from
All nineteen of them that hate you.

I have no idea what its about but that isn't too important. Your words have a great sense of rhythm and definitely work for me.

Are you going to put this to music?

It's about somebody who has thoroughly cheesed off his mates and they've therefore had a falling out. The singer is describing the person's re-integration with his friends. In the last section they say "So as to make yourself more welcome here" to suggest that the person is trying. They also switch from "twenty of us" to "nineteen of them", suggesting that they've changed their mind about him, and he's one step closer to getting his friends back.

I'm currently in a very rough stage with the music, but yes, I do plan on putting the words to music.
