Hi,

my son has a college project and needs to consult with a professional musician, ideally one that works full time in the music industry, but I doubt the college would be too strict on this.

Would anyone please be able to take a few minutes to help out a new musician and answer as many of the following questions as possible for him?

1) How do you stay relevant?

2) Does having the success you've had allow you to have more freedom with your music?

3) What makes you unique with the music that you create?

4) What music techniques do you use? and do they help you with being unique?

5) What process do you go through for starting and finishing a track?

6) What have you learned working professionally?

7) What role do you have in making music?

8 ) What skills are important for you to do your job?

9) Having produced music for many years, how to you keep yourself from doing the same thing?

10) Do you use the Mastering process and EQ creatively? If so, how?

Thank you.

Andy.
