Hi
Quick shameless self promotion; my (most of it) band is playing an acoustic session on bbc radio humberside tonight, sometime between 8-10pm.
Check out the line up and listen online live and for 1 week after here:

Cheers. Our first session was fun. We are on in about the first half hour or so...I'll try to record it and immortalize it on soundcloud or something :P

So it was YOU who was bothering my sheep! ;)

Your performances were SU-PERB, guys. The harmonies were flawless.

So what was it like being there? Was actually live or what?

I know how you felt when he asked who your music is influenced by. I hate that question. You sound like a cop out when you turn around and say "I dunno, it just pops out the top of my head".

Thanks! Yeah it was live. We were pretty nervous which showed in the first song :S

It was like this:
We turned up at 7:30 and they basically told us where to sit (which was directly opposite the presenter) pointed some mics at us, asked us to go through one song and then we had to go outside and wait to come on, which was after about 30 mins. We came in, sat down, said hi and played!
I had an awful cold the previous day so was jacked up on sudafed, nose spray and coca cola :D

Yeah, I wasn't prepared for an interview at all - we hadn't been told about that! Of course the answers I wanted to say come after the event:

In response to what I was thinking when I wrote the biography: 'I was thinking, shit, I have 180 characters to fill...'

Agree with the influences question - in many ways you try and avoid sounding like your favourite bands so you can't really list them as influences. In other ways, if you list your influences everyone will know where you are stealing material from :D

And the name of that damned band I couldn't remember is The Corries :S

The studios are probably like you imagine (lots of screens and knobs and dim lights), but much smaller than I thought they would be. Although it was only Hull, so that may account for it!

Brilliant ;D

Get some Baroque instrumentation on that - love the change into the rhythm guitar

And the little harmonies from this point on - quite superb!

Thanks, what instruments are you thinking of? I just arrived at uni and instead of working I'm sketching out ideas of how to record this one.

I can hear harpsichords, violins, horn maybe even slip a cheeky wee recorder in here.

Don't know why but thats what I hear ;)
