Farewell Letter

(Intro)

I’ve sent you so many telegrams
And I have this one at last
Did you know best songs come from broken hearts?
So let’s break mine...

(Verse 1)

Best songs come from broken hearts I know
Can’t remember when you locked the door
Dying by the time it goes too long
My love is burning in this song

(Chorus)

Nothing in this world will ever bring you back to me (2x)

(Verse 2)

It was a silent night and I put the radio on
Dance for me now
Who cares about love songs?
Sugar and spice, we getting down
Everything nice, but I lost my crown

(Chorus)

Nothing in this world will ever bring you back to me (2x)

(Bridge)

P.A.S.S.I.O.N.

I’m in love, in love again

P.A.S.S.I.O.N.

Is this love the same?

(Outro)

Nothing in this world will ever bring you back to me (2x)

Inspirers:

Very hypnotic and I liked the way the track built at the end. Wasn't keen on the lyrics when I read them, but they worked very well with the music. Very nice work, and great harmonies.

But if you're really not sure about the lyrics, I'd be happy to tidy them up for you.

There ain't nothing wrong with the lyrics. And your voice is like silk.

As Mike says... hypnotic.

I did feel it went on a minute too long but it's a lovely song.

Good luck with it.

Hi!

To me none of the three major elements of the song
vocals/lyrics/drums grabbed my attention.
All seemed to have been done with a bit too little ambition.
All being a bit aimless.
Feel free to ignore.

I can hear Chis Isaak in your voice and that's a really good thing.
Keep writing.
