It give me much pleasurartum to pronounce the mighty Summer Competition is well and truly closed and indeedee very mighty.

So without further ado I'd like to thank all 21 entrants and their top quality compositions, those that vetoed, and my fellow co-conscripiter Mr PompeyJazz.

Pomps wins with a fantastic song! I loved that one from the moment I heard it...it set the bar so high, I wondered how anyone else could even come close...but the amount of great entries was staggering.

Well done to Paulski too...a brilliant effort.

An amazing showcase for the forum...and I'm really chuffed to be anywhere near the top 3 in such great company.

Congratulations Pompey!! A superb and deserving entry! The quality in this competition, I thought, was outstanding and it really made tough work for us all choosing so a big well done all round! And I'd say that the competition really brought out some creativity and some songs that wouldn't otherwise have got written, so brilliant all round.

Wow ! - I'm totally gobsmacked and don't know what to say really. There were so many excellent songs in this competition and I've enjoyed it immensely.

It's a fix. 

This is the first seasonal forum comp I've been able to take part in and while I'm not a big fan of music comps per se,the fact there is a target to write to can be inspirational in itself.

Due respect to the cream on top and kudos to us all for being motivated to take part.
