In anticipation of our first gig in May (open mics don't count) - we've been forced to come up with a name for the band as we thought "Gaby and Tim" was rather lame.  This has been an on-going process for more than a year now and have rejected well over 200 suggestions.

But we've finally settled on one (for now):  Zendiem Moon

You really should have gone down the anagram route.  You missed classics such as "Tiny Bad Mag" and "Gamy Bandit". Opportunities go begging.

OK - slight change - we originally went with ZendiUm Moon, but found it was a type of toothpaste in The Netherlands so changed it to ZendiEm.  But the original version has been floating around so long the change doesn't feel right.  So Zendium Moon it is!!!

So silly band name story...
Well once upon a time I was a pretentious, bored, stoned (?) 17 year old who covered my drawing board with all sorts of crap including fanciful names for my future progeny (fleshy, musical or whatever...) Zendium Moon was always my favourite, despite it becoming a running family joke... Anyway shared all the ludicrous possibilities with Tim in an act of open-heartedness a few months ago, and he thankfully skirted around "Delphi Gospel...Iggy Dawning...Romilly Cuba...Hype Belushi...Saffron Elita... etc etc etc..." and landed on ZM... Then we kind of moved on, through hundreds of other ridiculous options but recently returned to it... Have now just about settled on this very 'special' one... in the face of more vigourous ribbing from my nearest and dearest...
