I've been making a new website where you can upload and share songs. The address is
http://www.aucadia.com. I'd like to ask you to help me test out the site by joining as artists and uploading some of your songs. The more the better! You'll have to be the patient type as the website is still at the toddler stage (it can just about walk, but still falls over regularly) and you may find it struggles to do what you want it to. But, rest assured, it is improving all the time and with your help can grow up into a fine young website.
With this website I'm trying to change people's attitudes towards music and what they should pay for it. In this age of interwebs and file-sharing I think that any hope of resurrecting the old "pay for songs" method of conducting business is dead on arrival. Therefore I'm trying to promote a system that encourages fans to invest in artists directly. All the music is offered for free and users can play anything they like, but if they wan't to see the artist they like do well they have the oppertunity to invest in their future. I'm hoping to break down barriers between artists and fans and allow both to live in harmony once again. No more Metallicas taking out lawsuits against their fans and definitely no more profit-hungry record companies.

If it's not, if there's anything you can't find out, I'd like you to let me know, as this means there isn't enough information available or the stuff that is there isn't descriptive enough. You'll see a 'feedback' button on the right. I'd be very grateful if you'd send me any thoughts you have using that.
