Hi

I am the lyricist and composer for our band. As I get older my not very good voice has become harsh to the ear so I am having trouble passing over the melody and inter-word inflection to the singers.

I have been looking at a number of solutions for this... I need a auto tune plugging for Logic Pro x and protools 11 (we use both)

It has to do the following

Pitch correction for real time and recorded tracks
Time correct would be nice
Real time and recorded tracks harmony vocal

Does anyone have any ideas as to what plugin I should use?

Are you sure?

I am a big fan of Melodyne but I thought it needed to create a region effect/import audio to analyse it - I don't think it will do anything in real time nor will it automatically create harmonies:

Pitch correction for real time and recorded tracks

Real time and recorded tracks harmony vocal

Melodyne doesn't actually automatically produce harmony vocal tracks - although it is easier to create them manually now that Melodyne can do multitrack editing in the latest update


I would personally look elsewhere if you want real time/live performance correction and harmony creation

I don't use this so can't recommend but the actual "auto tune" may be worth a look or a dedicated hardware unit

I missed the real time requirement
But it is very easy to create harmony lines

Waves Tune Real Time. Currently on sale at half price $99. Not used it personally but I believe that's what you're after.
