Blimey, keeping up with this thread is difficult indeed. So many great songs coming out of FAWM. Just listened to a couple of Neils, Paul's and Tina's. Third girl from the sun reminds me of The Rezillos, one of my fave bands ever. Keep it up guys, not long to go though I expect you will find it a bit difficult to stop now you're on the train  :) Must have a go at this next year

Third girl from the Sun hosts the finest six string flurrying and hurrying that I've heard from you Tina.

High octane wowzering.  8)

Skub,
Too right.
I've now managed to complete writing the 14 songs and here's a live one of the later ones, recorded in my outdoor studio.

Thank you so much Davy & John for your continuing support here!...it realy means a lot & is very kind of you keeping abreast of our progress
John im a huge Revillos/Rezillos fan & have loads of their albums ...
& Davy, wow thanks for saying i sound like Jeff Beck! ...you do have some lovely turns of phrase ..that 'hurrying & flurrying' bit made me sound like a snowstorm!  ;D

anyway ive been a busy bee & got another 3 songs up & now just need that final one to finish

congrats to Neil for beating me to the 14 a few days ago...& hes still going ..on 16 now..incredible!
unfortunately the last i heard of Paul hed lost his voice ...which is a teribble shame as his songs so far have been amazing
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)

Brilliant, brilliant and brilliant. Where on earth would you hear such innovative and creative new music ? Anagrams of mass destruction has to be my favorite. When I have to listen to people at work discussing their musical tastes it makes me want to cry. But then I have to remember that you guys are knocking out top quality original and innovative music all the time

Oooh thank you John!  :)

i made the big mistake of tagging some of my last few as 'funny protest songs' to lighten the mood at FAWM...so many people have  been writing depressing political protest songs there..
but as usual whenever you mention humour people treat them like novelty songs
when they were meant as serious songs but using a more light hearted way of getting a message across
oh well if people want to be miserable!
anyway ive done my 14th tonight!!
id realy had enough of FAWM & am so glad to finish :)

thank you Boydie for the congratulations :)
this was the 8th time ive done FAWM so i am experienced at it ...but i am so impressed how Neil & Paul took to it & finished the challenge! (Pauls got one more too do & im sure he will finish)
ive always felt like no one here ever believed me or thought I was crazy when ive gone on about FAWM ...so i feel sort of vindicated now Neil & Paul have shown it realy is possible!

Anyway I am having rest now because I havent just written & recorded a  14 track album I have also listened & reviewed 140 songs written in February by other FAWMers at the same time..I will come back here gradually I think! :)
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)

I am truly impressed with anyone who completed FAWM! I've only tried it once (not this year), and maybe I'll try it again. Some day when I know I'll have absolutely nothing else to do during February. Like Boydie, I couldn't keep up just listening. In fact, I only managed to hear a couple--maybe three or four.

Congratulations to Tina, Neil and Paul, 2017 FAWMers! I imagine you will all now sleep throughout the entire month of March.  ;D
