Just listened to Grow your own man by Tina. Love the dirty guitar so much. Interesting regarding The Primitives references. I've got a demo track where Tracy Tracy was singing backing VOCs for me in 85. Will have to post it some time

Well cool,John. 'Crash' is one of my all time favourite choons.  8)

Tina, just wondered how much time are you spending on FAwM?
Paul?!
I'm collab with lyricists so that cuts down the work. I'm probably online 30mins a day and have about 3 x 2 hours sessions in my studio a week. Just about still on speaking terms with the good Mrs C :-)

oh my goodness i probably spend about 2-3 hours most  nights Neil...i never go to bed before 1pm
ive done FAWM & 50/90 for 7 years now so i can write a song quick & record quick & develop it...mixing it takes the most time as im not great at that ...reviewing other peoples songs is the biggest drain on my time tho !..

its not that i dont want to listen to other peoples songs ,but when you want to concentrate on doing your own stuff its frustrating & of course the more people like what you do ,the more comments you get ,the more reviews you have to do!
my family are used to 'mums mad february' & are very good about it :)

i finished another one today & should have another done by tomorrow

I'm mostly staying away from this thread because it would totally suck up all my time! However, I couldn't resist taking a peek today and...I listened to "Highly Irregular". So perfect! So many of the syllables are so at odds with the strong and weak beats of the song...perfectly illustrating the theme of "highly irregular"! So, of course, I couldn't resist listening to a couple more. But now I have to rest. All that action wore me out, and I've been ill, you know. <<sigh>> Pooooor meeee....

Anyway, TinaM, I think I could listen to your stuff all day. Maybe if I listen enough, I'll become inspired and be able to write something quirky, meaningful, catchy, and memorable, too.

thank you ever so much for your support guys! I realy mean it .. :)
FAWM is great but there are so many people there it gets so cliquey that some days you feel like a star & others like a pariah
i am beginning to miss the community here in a big way...not everybody tho!  ;D
anyway im doing well now & have got a rhythm going & am working on my 10th song after putting up my 9th tonight ...another thrilling adventure for William the Wonder Cat

Davy someone has already mentioned that Belew man so you wont have to this time ;D
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)

I'm a bit behind on my listening,I'll get to Neil and Paul soon hopefully.

William sings the blues is just plain nasty,Tina.  8) I see you got some Jeff Beck comparisons, rightly so,it's a howler.  :)
