Hi guys, I have recently started trying to record some of my songs on my pc but have realised i probably need a much better soundcard than the one that came with the pc when i bought it. Just looking for advice really on good equipment, mics, soundcards etc that i could use to record vocals and guitar (electric & acoustic). thanks

Main questions to ask yourself are:
How many inputs and outputs do you need?
Do you need midi in/out?
PCI, Firewire or USB?
