Hi been away for ages so though i'd better try and get back into it.

Knocked this one up this morning in literally 3 hours with a heavy cold and rough production so just interested on thoughts about the song rather production.

Already thought of loads of lyrics I want to change but just wanted to the song down before it was lost. Totally not sure about the heartbreak hotel line - Possibly a bit cheesey?

Great to see you back MFJ - I like the vibe, it's got a sort of Kinks sound which I think works very well. I know this is a rough demo but I think it's the sort of song that would benefit from minimum percussion building up to an over the top section by the time the guitar solo kick in.  Great stuff and good to hear you again

'It's time for me to check out' is nice but I don't like the way it fits with the melody
I think the start is strong but it could build a bit better

Nice work. I really enjoyed it.

For me the intro needs to be simplified, and I'd drop the multi vocal melody. The voice is strong enough and has enough character to carry through without the extra layers. For me it'd be better to add harmony in places to compliment or underline the vocals at certain hook points.

Good strong song though. I liked it very much.
