Hi everybody.
I'm a songwriter without lyrics (I'd say composer but it's probably a touch generous) from Brighton. I've been playing guitar for about 2 years and writing for about 18 months. On a good day I like to think it sounds like Ray Davies. I haven't got any recording equipment at the minute, everything's locked up as .wav files synthesised on Sibelius, but we'll see how it goes :)
"I was happy in the haze of a drunken hour,
But Heaven knows I'm miserable now.
I was looking for a job, and then I found a job.
And Heaven knows I'm miserable now."

Hey Jim :)

Welcome to the forum! With a name like that I was expecting you to be from round these parts (Somerset). Brighton seems awfully cosmopolitan for a hillbilly?... ;)

Hope you enjoy the forum.

Tone :)

Thanks! I might have given the game away in that I'm not even a real 'Jim'... I might have to start signing off 'Ryan' to confuse people if nothing else ;) .
And Tone, well done on putting together such an informative and helpful forum  :)
