Hi everybody.
I'm a songwriter without lyrics (I'd say composer but it's probably a touch generous) from Brighton. I've been playing guitar for about 2 years and writing for about 18 months. On a good day I like to think it sounds like Ray Davies. I haven't got any recording equipment at the minute, everything's locked up as .wav files synthesised on Sibelius, but we'll see how it goes

Hey Jim
Welcome to the forum! With a name like that I was expecting you to be from round these parts (Somerset). Brighton seems awfully cosmopolitan for a hillbilly?...
Hope you enjoy the forum.

Thanks! I might have given the game away in that I'm not even a real 'Jim'... I might have to start signing off 'Ryan' to confuse people if nothing else
.
And Tone, well done on putting together such an informative and helpful forum
