Middle of the road

Bzzzt!  I had "middle of the road", so under Paulski's rules Donald Trump has to do something unspeakable to you.  Should be interesting...

I forgot my own genre - comedy!

EDIT: Re-checking the thread I see that delb0y repeated Paulski's "bluegrass".

Soukous
Bossa nova

Avant-garde...

I don't want to spoil anyone's fun but it looks as though someone here has had the same idea.

Motown!  (Leo Green on Radio 2's Sounds of the 50s has just played the first ever Motown record.  I think of Motown as a 60s genre but it just sneaked in.)

i think genres are a bit of a human weakness we do love to put things in boxes...
heres a few i found in a box
freakbeat
garage
 crunk
 nerdcore
 dubstep
donk
psychedelic
skiffle
 surf
lounge
  goth

when you submit music anywhere they always ask you for your genre & i realy resent it...
i want to say F*off ...so i suppose thats my genre ...F*off  :)
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)

"World"
is such a nebulous and useless term. But, as genres go... it is used to cover such a wide array of styles as:
Samba
Pagode
Tropicalia
NorteƱo
High Life
Raga
and so much more
