Adam asked the question - are genres important? - in another thread.
I thought - yeah there used to be about ten, now there are hundreds.
But how many are there - really?

So here's the challenge - name as many as you want in your post but do not repeat one that has been posted before you - or we will hunt you down, call you out, and Trump will bully you on his twitter feed  ;D ;D

I don't like the way that "classical" is lumped together as one enormous genre.  Shouldn't we have things like

Symphonic
Chamber music
Opera
Ballet music
Art songs

etc.?
