Hello all!
I'm Alice, I write electronic music within the standard 'song' format, mainly using samples I record out and about, but I also use synths.
I used to play in bands, playing the London circuit (the worst venues!). But I wanted to write music and as a bass player I wasn't getting the opportunity to do this.
So here I am! Now a bedroom musician, writing alone, really empowering but at the same time i'm missing the camaraderie of being in a band and having people around to 'bounce off of'.
I'm hoping this forum will give me a chance to hear what others are up to, hopefully get inspired and perhaps get some advice on what I'm working on.
