So when I first heard this song in my head, I imagined this as some kind of Two-Tone Genre.
But when Phil and I began writing this, we tried a soul song and then tried to make it "modern". It ended up sounding like a child of the 80s.
My friend say "Pet Shop Boys" so I'm resigned to wearing a traffic cone on my head.
Thanks Phil for all the time you've spent mixing and adding to the song in so many ways...get well soon mate.
Thanks in advance for any reviews.

Lyrics:
You got the moves where the moves should be
You got the grooves where the grooves should be
You got love and your love so free
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me

You got a heart and and your heart beats
You got a  mind and your mind breathes
I want to say categorically
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me

Getting ready to move
Getting ready to groove with love
My love is ready for you
My Love is ready for groovy love
I only want to improve
I only want to improve and move
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me

I got a dance that needs you to beat
The dance of hope that's inside of me
I need you to help me move my feet
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me

Getting ready to move
Getting ready to groove with love
My love is ready for you
My Love is ready for groovy love
I only want to improve
I only want to improve and move
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me

Getting ready to move
Getting ready to groove with love
My love is ready for you
My Love is ready for groovy love
I only want to improve
I only want to improve and love
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me
You should be
You could be
You would  be me with me

its about time you had a new one sandeep as I love your dancey grooves...& I wasnt disappointed... this is ultra catchy & dancey...its quite a laidback vocal for an upbeat song but it works!
'youve got the moves & the grooves'...& I was waiting for you to sing hooves!  but you didnt ...no horses on the dancefloor please!  :)
I love that word 'categorically' I dont know why ..
I dont think you made quite the most of the chorus ….its quite similar to the verse so maybe a drastically different effect on the voice would be a good idea ? make it trebly? idk
But anyway I think its fab ...& if this doesnt get you dancing  you must be on crutches!  ;D
Tell me Im wonderful & I ll be nice to you :)

Makes me want to dance...or meditate to the chant-like vocals. Or both at once, probably. Fun, upbeat. Like Tina said, "dancey". No nits...

nice groove
I want to do a dnce album too.
when I'm dancing I like more bass though.

Still I did enjoy your song!
It's either this or that, then again it might be the other.

I can promise you a future of slow decline.

Flawless production, groovy beat, retro sound, catchy chorus and enchanting vocals/lyrics.

Even though there's something familiar it's also unique, love the  break-down at 2:27 and agree with Vicki makes me want to dance but also works well to just sit down and absorb!

Hi MF.

The song is invested with all the power of the 1980s,as others have noted.

Righteously catchy and grooves along nicely.  :)

I'd love more bottom end to balance out the crispy top, maybe that's just me being a bass freak.

Very groovy! I love the bass with that wiry sound.

Great clear mix. 80ies may not be my favorite style of music but i enjoyed this one a lot.

This just works right from the start. Immediately catchy with a smooth groove. Going to have to listen again (and again!)

A hit in the 70's for sure, tried hard to find a problem with the production but had to give up...

it's perfect for the genre..

 Hi

Yeah....like this, a trip down memory
lane. I went to a Human League gig once
and this reminds me of them.....loved it ;D

Nice clean production, loving the synths.
Thought the solo could have been more
'exciting' and maybe more fx on the vocal.
 Small details.........

 Good work Sandeep......more please ;D

Hi Sandeep,

Great song well played and produced, evocative of the eighties. Thought the bass could have been a bit more prominent. Do think the vocals should be sung by a big voiced diva with some variation in the vocal melody, but that's just a taste thing. Great song though.
