Really nice song Adam, gentle and pleasant on the ear. You´ve got some lovely melodies and harmonic arrangements going on under here. I can´t quite bring myself to write songs like this about my kids but I feel the love and know it well (my song would more likely be titled ´Be quiet and pick that up´). I do REALLY like the clean guitar sound as well with the bass synth filling out the arrangement.
My strongest recommendation is that you play this for your kids at their 18th birthday party in front of all their friends
