Very good John,

I can imagine you sitting in Joe Meeks lavatory singing the chorus and him screaming at you up the stairs.

Your versatility produces nice surprises.

Nice 60's feel.......love the reverb......very oceanic.
Nice songwriting, Pompy, as always! Love the open and relaxed singing!
Kudos,

really strong vocal pompey
opening line nails it

has a ballroom kind of reverb
dresses you in a posh suit with satin flashing and a trailing mic lead
at the palais in the 60s or on phoenix nights .
done a great job ..trem gtrs nice too
and the short fade !
fine work pompey
i may not believe this tomorrow...

I haven´t been around for a few weeks and this was a fab return to the forum John. This song has some great hooks all the way through...the song structure is so nice as well. It is a real return to form. Your voice really shines through on this one and I can imagine you singing this on a club stage with couples doing 50s style ballad dancing to this...you always have other tricks up your sleeve though and the end just changes style to keep us on our toes. This is a habit of yours and I call it doing what the **** you like. I love it.

Great stuff - it´s made my evening.

Hey John,

Even though everything's been said....just wanted to let you know that I really liked the whole production in this....vocals, instrumentation, soundscape....Very well done...for me it transcends nostalgia and creates a compelling piece....!

i hear a little urge overkill.

The song is great. Mix and arrangement "could" be improved.
i know this tune needs reverb; but maybe its a little too much; and maybe (in terms of arrangement) some instruments shouldn't play all the time; to give it even more dynamic.

or: leave everything the way it is. :) very nice listen. tx
