HELLO FELLOW MUSCIANS AND MUSICLOVERS

The time has come for me to post another tune on this here forum! I've just released an EP under the name "Known as Beppe" and this is a track from that EP!

It's called Bliss and is about the end of a journey and what happens in the mind of the protagonist when he leaves the mortal realm.

https://soundcloud.com/knownasbeppe/bliss

LYRICS:
Light to dark
Bliss monarch
I stop to think
What became of me

A soulless soul
Spendable
I fill the hole
With self-control

The dreams could never leave be
This mind could never let me see
Alleviation is the key
My spirit left our mortal state
To become another being at the gate

A being made from light and dark
A touch of bliss transparent arcs
A blackend halo, dancing sparks
Push the gate inside our minds
And taste the finer tasting wines
And climb down the never ending spines

Take your time
Listen to the chime
Of the universal orchestra...

With love

I think it's nice sounding production....80's synth vibe...both pop and a deeper sound//i wonder if you should just go with the pop and leave the Pinkfloyd out?

Hey Beppe.

A very mixed era sound, some parts throw me back to the 70s and other bits have that 80s keyboard sound.

I kinda agree with STC on the 'Close Encounters' part at the end which almost doubles the length of the song...as an album track maybe, but if you had any aspirations it might need to be clipped.

All said,it was a very interesting listen.

Beppe, really like the vibe and arrangement of this. Really nicely put together and I´m getting The Cure vibes from it with a bit of space-tech thrown in (I don´t know what space-tech is but I think it sounds good). Your voice is really distinctive as well. The gutars are very melodic all the way through and mix really well with the synths and the beat.

As for the ending, it is nice, but not sure why you did it. But hey, it still sounds cool and who cares, it´s your music!

Great production.

Definitely got an early 80s synth feel.

Nice tune and enjoyed the vocals.

Listening now.......what a beautiful 80's feel. Nice recording. It's a bit busy, however, for my taste. I can't seem to concentrate on any one point of light (if you get my meaning  :-\)
Cool sonic atmosphere........nice!

As much as I like the song and overall vibe I can't help but feel it sounds like to records playing at once in parts.
Cheers

Enjoying this peice with a touch of 80's feel.
Cleaver lyrics and liked your vocals.
Great the guitars and that pulsating rhythms and sythns, all add up.
Then we all go into the void.....

Thanks you guys!

Breif explanation about what I was going for (so that it might be a little bit of an easier listen).

This is a part of a project I've been working on where the point was to create an unique sounding track for each track (there's 5 different tracks on the EP). This is the last song on it and therefore the ending is a bit mellow.

If you think about the title of the song and the meaning of the lyrics the ending makes sense! Atleast to me haha :) The character is leaving his physical self to become "another being at the gate" and to leave the "mortal realm" (aka earth! :D). The ending was suppose to mimic my take on BLISS, which in this case would be DEATH.

The reason behind the whole lot of different melodies and instrumentation is simple put because I find it really intersesting on the ears! I find there's a whole lot of replay value when there's lots of things going on, haha! Also maybe because I prefer when things sound really disorienting!

THANKS A BUNCH YOU GUYS FOR LISTENING AND TAKING THE TIME TO POST WHAT YOU THOUGHT!! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT :D

Woo, I'm happy I clicked on this, it's so close to what I miss from the 80's, this surreal sound...

The vocal is very good, it flies with the song like a bird in the sky...
